Rooted and Grounded in Love

“…rooted and grounded in love.”

As I turned the corner this morning, I saw this banyan tree growing slowly on the edge of a rockland ridge.  The branches up above and the roots down below of this magnificent being take nourishment from the light and the soil, in the process manifesting divine beauty. As above so below goes the ancient teaching. And so we mind our life today, lifting up and opening our hearts and minds to the gifts of freedom, creativity, and imagination while rooting ourselves in compassion, kindness, and generosity. It is this dual movement that provides stability and perseverance during the storms of life.

Join us Monday through Thursday (7-8 PM) for yoga where we practice what this beautiful banyan tree so eloquently demonstrates. For more information, 305.403.9542.
