COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course will present the background and method of mindfulness meditation—including the basic understanding and attitude useful in developing a sustainable and meaningful practice.
We will cover the Frequently Asked Questions that many of us ask about mindfulness and how this transformative practice can be applied for daily living.
Each session will include a mindfulness meditation practice aimed to ground our conversations with experience.
Together we will read Pema Chodron’s book When Things Fall Apart, using the text as a tool to deepen our practice and desire to get on our meditation cushions.
Cost: $80
