A Morning Yoga Practice

https://youtu.be/AGUPvXm6WAI

Here’s a 7-minute yoga morning practice to start the day. The breath leads each movement. If you find that you need to slow down, do so. Each breath/movement can become a wordless mantra, a prayer.

Developing one’s practice is a life changer. Memorizing this sequence (Sun A and Sun B Salutation) frees us to drop into the body without having to negotiate or think about out what the next move will be. In this video I do two repetitions of the Sun Salutations.

You can easily add three more and then take time to sit in quiet meditation. The ultimate aim of asana practice is to help us take our focal point from the rushing stream of thoughts moving through our minds and discover a calm place within where we become stillness and peace.

Enjoy and join me and others for a live yoga session on Monday, Thursday, and Friday
