Yoga for Body and Mind

Gravity Yoga (Monday 7PM)

Ready to deepen your flexibility by opening and creating space in your body in a gentle and relaxed way? Join me on Monday nights for an hour of Gravity Yoga, a mat-based, targeted mobility class based on The Science of Stretching™. 

The aim of the class is to help you effectively improve your overall flexibility by progressing slowly and safely with the purpose of helping you move about the world with greater health, ease, and fun. 

Useful Props

  • Yoga mat
  • Yoga blocks or books
  • Knee or butt padding, such as folded blanket or cushions
  • Empty wall (sometimes)
  • Strap, belt or non-elastic band

Flow Yoga (Thursday 7 PM)

There are many styles of yoga asana practice. This class is a full-body workout that helps boost cardiovascular function, gain strength, improve balance, and functional mobility.

The session is accessible–no prior yoga experience needed, fantastic for stiff and achy people. Flow yoga is different from the gravity yoga class in that there’s a sequence of poses that are not held for long periods of time. You may find yourself sweating but definitely feeling relaxed by the end of the session.

Cost

*Payment is due an hour before class in order to join the Zoom space and receive an email with the Zoom registration link.
