The Meditation Practice is Tame

Hi everyone. I hope that as you bump into this post you are feeling well. I wanted to share a short clip from last week’s community yoga class. We started with a grounding meditation, allowing ourselves to settle in and slow down.

This basic meditation practice can go a long way. It is quite tame but the experience of settling in and allowing the thoughts to move through us rather than engage them is challenging.

I don’t know about you, but I know that I am always good for greater ease, more peace, and presence. I don’t know of anything that can do this better than the simple practice of noticing.

Take a peek and more than a peek, maybe take a moment to sit, breathe, and gently draw your awareness to your breath when you find yourself pulled by the storyline of your life.

We practice every Monday and Thursday night.
